Family Involvement
ACTS relies on the support of our families who volunteer their time and resources to help provide a wholistic experience for students.
Below are some of the number of ways parents get involved:
Parent of the Day
Each ACTS day, one parent from our community supports ACTS staff and students as the Parent of the Day. From manning the bell schedule and assisting with other tasks, the Parent of the Day is an integral part of our ACTS support structure.
Class Parents
Each year, a parent or parents of students in each grade level volunteer as a class parent. These class parents help to communicate information, organizing class events, and supporting tutors.
Event Coordinators and Volunteering
The ACTS community gets connected through a variety of ACTS wide events each year. Playground meetups, larger events such as the Christmas Program, individual class meetups, etc. All of these are planned by parents in the community.
