Weekly Events at ACTS
Our community is our best asset! In addition to fellowship on ACTS days, our community participates in weekly events that help to foster close friendships.
Playground Group
After every ACTS day, many of our ACTS families gather for "playground meet-up." Although it is in the name, "playgrounds" are not our only meet-up! We hike, we play sports, we visit libraries, and we explore! This bi-weekly event not only strengthens the bonds made in the classroom, it also allows for older students to mentor younger students and foster multi-age relationships.
Chapel
Each Monday morning we have a 20-minute Chapel designed to center our hearts on Christ and nurture a love for God’s Word. Students and staff will gather for worship, prayer, and a short devotional. Our desire is that Chapel will ground each week in truth and inspire students to grow in faith and character. Chapel will bring all of ACTS together and help us to remember that our focus is on the Lord, His world, beauty and goodness.
Fellowship
Fellowship Time is held each Thursday to help students build friendships, practice kindness, and enjoy time together in Christian community. Activities may include playground games, class collaborations, seasonal celebrations, all ACTS meet-up and mentorship between our older and younger students. Our hope is this ACTS meet up and mentorship between our older and younger students will be a sweet time of fellowship.
